Little things, Big things

When I travel, or even when I don't, I enjoy being surrounded by a world that finds itself much larger than I. To know that I am simply a small part of a big scheme is comforting, but taking a closer look at what surrounds me may say the opposite. I am intrigued by details, not because nobody else notices them and I want to take a particular notice, but because they are what make up the bigger scheme of things. They are the stories that move and shape, they are the charm and character that is necessary to make a story meaningful.

I think of myself as that, a detail that has the power to move and shape. And at any given time, I too, can be shaped and moved by my surroundings.

I've always grown up wanting to live a life of meaning and understand what that even meant for me, because a life of meaning can mean anything really. I believe there is a world within us that is meant to be enhanced, discovered, and as we unravel ourselves in a world with both the beauty of our spirits and the chaos of our flesh, we all have a meaningful story to share and something valuable to offer. Perhaps we're all big fish in a small ocean.

Brian & Maddie

I remember this day being simple, charming, and as the beginning of summer crept in, the light was crisp and the air seemed light (and also slightly polluted by pollen, which is great when you're allergic). Although I don't know Maddie and Brian on a level that their close friends and family know them, I do know they are a caring, compassionate, and loving duo. Thanks for letting me into your world, lady and gent.
